Configuring Forms Services and Excel Services
Overview When one works with the Enterprise version of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, one can implement a number of business intelligence and forms-based solutions to add functionality. Forms-based solutions allow organizations to convert and deploy any forms that they may have into an electronic format. The forms can be completed by staff from within a Web browser. Business intelligence is the process of delivering key performance and mission-critical information about an organization to the key decision makers to streamline the decision making process; in many environments, the information required for making these decisions is stored in Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheets. Excel Services extends the use of spreadsheets by integrating them into organization information management systems.
