Overview Safran wanted to optimize performance of the Printrak Biometric Identification Solutions (BIS) system used by criminal justice and civil agencies to manage identification data and ensure meeting contractual obligations for performance levels. Safran upgraded Printrak BIS system customers to Oracle Database 11g to ensure system performance, availability, and security and leveraged Oracle Database 11g's SecureFiles feature to deliver high performance and scalability in a cost-effective manner - allowing MorphoTrak/Safran to meet service level obligations without sacrificing profitability.
