PKWARE Case Study: Airline Tariff Publishing Company
Overview Owned by many of the major airlines, Airline Tariff Publishing Company (ATPCO) provides data collection/distribution clearing house services for more than 500 carriers worldwide. Along with efficiencies comes the responsibility for secure data transport. ATPCO is keenly aware of its obligation to secure data against loss, theft, or unlawful manipulation. Without any regulatory pressure, the company began to investigate security solutions. After investigating other options, ATPCO chose to upgrade from PKZIP to SecureZIP. SecureZIP was the only solution that met all of ATPCO's requirements.
