Cox Communications Transforms Human Resources Processes to Boost Efficiency and Engagement

Overview Cox's Human Resources (HR) department created a five-year vision in 2002 to unify HR systems and processes across the entire employee lifecycle and to drive employee engagement. The plan also involved delivering self-service functionality to increase efficiency and allow data capture closest to the source, providing consistency companywide without taking control away from local systems, and delivering useful metrics to drive business decision making. Cox leverages Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise Human Capital Management Suite as the backbone of its HR system and has expanded and upgraded the system over the last seven years to support its plan.
