Overview Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 R2 helps to manage the virtual infrastructure by using the enhancements to Hyper-V in the Windows Server 2008 R2 operating system. The presenter will discuss the new features of Virtual Machine Manager 2008 R2, including support for Windows Server 2008 R2 capabilities like live migration, hot addition and removal of storage, and optimized networking technologies. With Quick Storage Migration, shared volume support (both Cluster Shared Volumes and third-party), Storage Area Network (SAN) migration into and out of clustered hosts, and expanded support for iSCSI SANs, Virtual Machine Manager 2008 R2 and Hyper-V provide a dynamic virtualization platform for all of the business-critical applications.
