Overview SK Telecom is the largest mobile communications service provider in Korea. In 2004, SK Telecom launched Mobile Cyworld, a mobile service that provides access to Cyworld, the largest online community site in Korea, through the Nate wireless internet service. To ensure it continues to deliver high performance for a rapidly increasing user base, in 2008 the company migrated its Oracle Database server (which contains data on Mobile Cyworld users) to the Linux platform. The migration was completed in three weeks with the assistance of Oracle Unbreakable Linux.
