Power Policy Configuration and Deployment in Windows
Overview Windows Vista and later versions of Windows feature a redesigned power policy store that enables third-party extensibility and configuration by using Windows Group Policy. This paper describes the Windows power policy store, demonstrates common power policy configuration tasks, and provides reference information about native power settings in Windows. This paper also demonstrates how to perform common power policy configuration tasks by using PowerCfg, the power policy command-line configuration tool that is included with Windows.
