HP Reference Configuration for SAS Enterprise Business Intelligence Server: HP BladeSystem Servers Running Microsoft Windows Server 2003 - 100 Users
Overview Today's Enterprise customers demand a reliable Business Intelligence platform that can scale to meet their business requirements; HP and SAS together offer such a platform. This Reference Architecture describes a hardware environment that is sized to support 100 SAS Enterprise BI users on HP BladeSystem servers. This configuration was developed around SAS Enterprise BI Server 9.1.3 with Service Pack 4 running on HP BladeSystem servers and an HP StorageWorks 1500cs Modular Smart Array. This reference architecture is based on HP's results in the SAS developed 100 Enterprise BI user test suite as well as real-life customer configurations. The SAS Enterprise BI test was developed by SAS to simulate sample Enterprise BI users' daily activities.
