County of San Joaquin Information Systems Division Modernizes and Integrates Law and Justice Systems
Overview The County of San Joaquin Information Systems Division is the central IT organization serving the County of San Joaquin, which is a midsize California county with a population of more than 600,000. It needed to replace an outdated and difficult to maintain warrant system to improve the county's ability to manage making arrests, issuing warrants, and maintaining histories, and to transition to the new state court system. County of San Joaquin leveraged Oracle tools including Oracle Application Development Framework to create a custom-built, Web-based warrant system to link approximately 15 offices countywide.
