Overview AFC Auto Fleet Control GmbH specializes in claims management for commercial car fleets. It needed to provide high reliability and reduce administrative expenses. The challenge was to manage state-of-the-art database technology and gain enterpisewide data access via a uniform data layer for all corporate applications and meet increased performance requirements using innovative reporting applications. AFC Auto Fleet Control migrated to Oracle Database 10g using expanded Oracle features to establish a highly flexible and reliable IT platform and migrated to high-performance hardware and Suse Linux Enterprise Server 10 to gain a cost-effective and scalable application infrastructure environment.
