Business Intelligence Gears Up With Solution Package
Overview As an application service provider for municipal authorities, KIVBF had to make substantial improvements to the performance of its SAP NetWeaver BW, because speedy analysis of data from the warehouse is increasingly important to customers. The administrative cost of maintaining the data warehouse was too great. An individual data cube and separate queries had to be set up and maintained for each customer. KIVBF decided to go for the SAP NetWeaver BW Accelerator for the small HP infrastructure solution with four blades for two operative systems used by public utilities. During an eight-week period in which HP made the SAP appliance available, KIVBF was able to use its own data for test purposes and gain the necessary experience to take an informed decision.
