HP Virtual Server Environment Reference Architecture for Oracle Application Server
Overview The HP Virtual Server Environment Reference Architecture described represents a simple solution for Oracle application server consolidation with the HP Virtual Server Environment. The HP Virtual Server Environment (VSE) creates virtual servers that can automatically grow, shrink, and move based on the service-level objectives set for each application they host. HP VSE includes a set of partitioning technologies for range of needs: from full electrical isolation to highly granular resource sharing. This HP VSE Reference Architecture showcases a solution based on HP Resource Partitions - a partitioning component within the VSE that provides the highest degree of resource sharing.
