T-Mobile Speeds Business Intelligence With SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse Accelerator and IBM
Overview To compete in the UK cell phone market, T-Mobile is continually looking both to cut operational costs and to optimize its revenues by tuning the tariffs it offers to its customers. The traditional approach to business intelligence had reached its limits, and T-Mobile wanted a faster and more flexible solution. As part of a major upgrade to its SAP software environment, T?-Mobile worked with IBM Global Technology Services to deploy the IBM Systems solution for SAP NetWeaver BW Accelerator. Based on Intel-based IBM BladeCenter technology, IBM System Storage GPFS and SAP NetWeaver BW Accelerator software, average query speed is now up to 150 times faster than before.
