INVOICES 5-5 and SOX Compliance Support
Overview The acronym SOX is often encountered in meetings and in requests for information or proposals. It is an important topic today, and there are many interpretations of it. This paper shows that when purchasing products that affect financial documentation, it is important to select products that support SOX conformity - and that INVOICES 5-5 is such a product. SOX, or the Sarbox Act or, to be precise, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, is a US law passed in 2002 to strengthen corporate governance and restore investor confidence. The act was sponsored by US Senator Paul Sarbanes and US Representative Michael Oxley.
