Web Content Management White Papers

Delivering a Cost Efficient and Integrated A/P Automation Solution With Oracle Content Management

Overview Paper is still an important element of many business processes. Information derived from paper helps feed mission-critical business systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. However, paper introduces inefficiencies that increase costs, including shipping paper documents from one office to another, physically processing those documents (routing, data entry, review), physically storing documents in file cabinets and warehouses, and finding filed documents. Moreover, paper increases the opportunities for costly processing errors and may lead to compliance issues with corporate retention policies. Unfortunately, truly automating paper-bound processes cannot be achieved as long as paper remains an essential part of the overall process.
