Efficiencies Enable Two Administrators to Manage 200,000 End Users Worldwide
Overview HP wanted to reduce the administrative costs to manage HP's client environment while simultaneously improving quality of service. HP automated management of the client environment, including installing and maintaining core applications, patching systems, enabling self-service for optional software and collecting inventory and usage information. This resulted in reduced infrastructure by more than 50% while improving reliability to over 99.9% as well as compressed packaging times for patches from at least eight hours down to minutes.
