HP Helps Stramit Build Business Advantage
Overview To gain extra flexibility, capacity and performance, and achieve a scalable solution that would permit quick and easy future expansion, Stramit decided to move from a five-year legacy physical infrastructure to a more cost-effective virtualisation and storage solution. Stramit went through a tender process to determine the most suitable technology solution. HP Partner Oriel Technologies identified the impact of aging hardware and increasing rack space costs and assessed the superior benefits offered by blade technology and virtualisation, which led to Stramit's selection of HP's server-storage virtualisation solution. Education sessions were subsequently conducted upon HP's appointment as Stramit's end-to-end supplier.
