Hewlett-Packard(HP) Case Study: Astellas Pharma Inc.

Overview Astellas Pharma Inc. wanted to adopt a remote replication infrastructure for disaster recovery of business critical systems. and introduce a remote replication structure as a replacement for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. Astellas Pharma Inc. shifted to a disaster recovery method based on a storage array base using HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA) and HP StorageWorks Continuous Access EVA software, to provide remote data replication functionality.
