Overview Polycom wanted to boost laptop security to protect valuable laptop computers and the sensitive data stored on them. The challenge was to enhance asset management to improve the ability to locate and inventory laptops to ensure up-to-date patching and increase IT efficiency to enable remote reimaging to reduce the need for costly desk-side repairs. Pcs based on the Intel Core 2 Duo processor with Intel vPro technology and Intel Anti-Theft Technology for hardware-based protection and Computrace with Intel Anti-Theft PC protection for software-based security.
