Overview The VeldhovenGroup wanted to ensure that the company's IT infrastructure can handle 35% growth per year and improve the availability, performance, and scalability of the VeldhovenGroup's Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) system and its warehouse management system to improve the quality and efficiency. The challenge was to implement the solution in just one week due to the seasonality of the business and streamline system management and accelerate problem identification and resolution. The VeldhovenGroup improved availability by migrating the core Oracle Database running on a single 32-bit Windows server to one Oracle Database with Oracle Real Application Clusters on two 64-bit Windows servers and optimized use of hardware, performance, and scalability to support growth with the ability to quickly add servers to the cluster without any downtime.
