Comparing Leading Email and SharePoint Security Solutions
Overview This paper discusses the results of two separate research programs that were focused on four leading mail server security solutions designed for Microsoft Exchange environments, as well as SharePoint collaboration server security solutions. The four solutions - from Trend Micro, Symantec, Microsoft and McAfee - were the focus of a research program conducted with messaging decision makers. It is important to note that while there are significant differences in the cost of ownership among the various offerings discussed in this report, these are all established offerings from well-respected vendors - albeit with differences in technology and effectiveness, but those are factors outside the scope of this survey.
