Deploying Exchange Server 2007 SP1 on Windows Server 2008

Overview Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (Code name "Longhorn") offers new features and several improvements over Windows Server predecessors. Some of the new or improved feature areas include server deployment, management, security, high availability, virtualization, terminal services, web technologies and high performance computing (HPC). Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 offers a mission-critical e-mail messaging platform for enterprises alone with a host of other capabilities. Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 version is supported for deployment on Microsoft Windows Server 2008. This white paper will highlight some of new features of Windows Server 2008 as applicable to Exchange Server 2007.
