Oracle Locator and Oracle Spatial 11g Best Practices
Overview This white paper describes best practices for Oracle Locator and Oracle Spatial with SDO_GEOMETRY, the Oracle Database native data type for storing vector data. Oracle Spatial extends the core location features included in every Oracle database with Oracle Locator. Therefore, this paper refers to Oracle Locator when describing best practices that apply to both Oracle Locator and Oracle Spatial.
