Overview Beta testers provided many glowing reports about the functionality and performance of Windows 7 especially when compared to Windows Vista. But is corporate IT excited about the new operating system, or do they dread yet another release? The following report is based on a survey of 1,142 IT professionals conducted in March 2009. The goal of the survey was to gather data about current plans and attitudes within corporate IT organizations for adoption of Windows 7 for desktop and laptop computers.
