Oracle VM Benefits for ISVs
Overview Oracle's virtualization technologies are an excellent delivery vehicle for Independent Software Vendors (ISV's) looking for a simple, easy-to-install and easy-to-support application delivery solution. A typical ISV application can range from a simple single-server configuration to a large, distributed network of applications using shared storage and parallel processing to achieve eXtreme Transaction Processing (XTP). Any virtualization platform solution must be able to address this range of installations, and provide an upgrade path between them. Oracle VM is well suited for this challenge. This white paper explains the hurdles that ISV's face when choosing an application delivery platform, and how Oracle VM and Oracle Enterprise Linux help them to overcome these issues.
