Overview As outlined from the Oracle June 1, 2008 web broadcast "BEA Welcome and Oracle Middleware Strategy" Oracle WebLogic Server is the strategic application server infrastructure for the Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g platform. Oracle Internet Application Server will continue to be developed, maintained, and released according to Oracle's standard lifetime support policies. To ensure long-term investment protection and a seamless upgrade, key components such as Oracle HTTP Server, Oracle Web Cache, Oracle Forms, Reports, Portal, Discoverer, B2B and other layered products within Oracle Application Server (OracleAS) have been converged and certified on WebLogic Server.
