Reducing the Cost of Compliance: Sun Microsystems Change and Access Control
Overview Faced with escalating costs for achieving compliance with industry and government regulations, many organizations are struggling to find better ways to address their compliance requirements. Like many companies, Sun was finding that the high cost of its compliance program was continuing despite significant efforts to remediate compliance gaps. One of the primary causes was that auditors were not completely convinced that all changes were made through Sun's sanctioned Change Management process.
