Overview GNERA wanted to enable the company to enter the renewable energy market and facilitate entry into the Iberian Peninsula's energy market by streamlining compliance the requirement of Operador del Mercado Iberico de Energia and Red Electrica (the Spain-based manager of that country's electric system. The challenge was to generate client confidence within an emerging market to increase new business opportunities and provide the flexibility to ensure continued compliance with the industry's changing regulatory landscape. Worked with Oracle Partner Atos Origin in implementing Oracle Database 11g to integrate information from managed energy plants to achieve compliance with the electrical power market.
