Overview Mercadolibre, Inc. wanted to create a scalable, highly available IT infrastructure to sustain the growth of its online marketplace for users and consumers and establish a robust, easy-to-access database for millions of online users including buyers and sellers. The challenge was to improve the company's competitiveness by offering users new services and high availability to allow them to interact, buy, sell, and pay for products. Mercadolibre, Inc. worked with Oracle Partner Snoop Consulting to implement a scalable, highly available IT infrastructure that supported the company's growth and established a robust, reliable, highly available database with Oracle Database Enterprise Edition.
