Batch Processing Tasks Are 40 Percent Faster With Dell PowerEdge Servers
Overview DataVision was seeking an alternative hardware solution to recommend to its banking clients, which would offer high performance and support in remote areas without requiring a compromise on cost. The company ran performance tests on Dell PowerEdge servers with Intel Xeon 7400 series processor technology and found a significant improvement in performance over RISC-based servers favored by banks. As a result Dell PowerEdge servers complete batch processing tasks 40 percent faster than RISC-based servers.
