Overview Located on two campuses in Auckland's Pakuranga and Remuera, St Kent's is an independent, Presbyterian school. Offering a premium education to more than 1,650 girls and boys from years 7-13, St Kent's is overseen by 130 teachers. St Kent's College had outgrown its existing IT infrastructure due to rapid growth and a corresponding increase in the volume and complexity of student and administrative data. Manual administrative processes dominated with teachers and staff expected to manage large amounts of information without any central information management system. St Kent's, with IT partner Fujitsu, deployed Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 to meet three key IT needs: an electronic school calendaring system, an electronic workflow and information management system and an effective user-driven information communication system.
