Overview Olympia Chemicals is the second largest producer of soda ash in Pakistan. It is also a public limited company that employs 1,200 people and has 96 personal and 6 portable computers. It needed to provide employees with better control over business processes so that growth wouldn't result in a chaotic situation. If someone wanted to create a requisition, that person had to go and talk to the inventory manager to inquire about the availability of the item number before he or she began filling out the forms. It deployed Microsoft Dynamics GP which integrated with the company's server product portfolio and had a user interface that was familiar to his employees. He reasoned this would make the solution easier to deploy and use.
