Overview Dow Corning is a worldwide leader in the silicon-based technologies industry. To improve employee communication, Dow Corning deployed a solution based on Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007. Employees connect by using the Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 and Office Live Meeting clients. As a result, employees can communicate more efficiently worldwide, and capabilities such as real-time presence information and video conferencing help the company deliver better customer service. The company has also improved IT efficiency through better use of system resources and tight integration with existing technology. Office Communications Server 2007 will be the center for continuous improvement of the Dow Corning communications infrastructure.
