Web Service and Workflow Forms Smooth Data Path Into Microsoft Dynamics GP

Overview A subsidiary of the Costa Group, Grape Exchange grows, packages, and sells table grapes to Australian supermarkets. Every order generated four sets of purchase orders and sales orders between each of Grape Exchange's businesses. With no interface between its ordering and accounting systems, transaction data had to be manually entered. By creating a web service interface and an associated workflow application linked to Microsoft Dynamics GP, Grape Exchange eliminated the need for repeated manual data entry. This reduced work volumes, increased invoicing accuracy, and lessened business risk.
