Ernst and Young Sweden Gains Better Insights With Microsoft Business Intelligence Solution
Overview Ernst & Young is a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory services. Their ambition is to help associates, customers, and society as a whole achieve their full potential. The old system was complicated to administer and performing poorly against growing volumes of data. The company's ability to do mass, high-volume reporting was suffering. Changes to the system were also costly to implement. E&Y Sweden partnered with Microsoft Gold Certified partner and consultancy Acando to adopt a Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) solution based on Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and Microsoft Office Excel 2007. Together, they implemented SQL Server, data warehouse that easily supports large data flow and facilitates decision-support processes.
