Overview The massive worldwide economic crisis has disrupted the ecosystem of the mobile handset value chain. OEMs (e.g. Nokia and Motorola) are now launching rounds of layoffs, restructuring and refocusing on core competencies instead of boasting their latest acquisitions, expansions and record-high shipments.
