Ramco Systems Case Study: Trading Business
Overview The trading arm of a highly reputed business conglomerate (pioneers and market leaders in several fields with over 40 manufacturing operations across 12 states in India) based in Chennai was using a FoxPro-based legacy finance and inventory system. With their head office in Chennai and branches across South India, they required an integrated system that can consolidate purchases from all their branches, track stock items that are transferred to branches and manage local sales. The system should efficiently cater to their multi-branch, multi-location requirements. The company deployed Ramco OnDemand ERP which helped the manufacturer draw their disparate processes together; efficiently manage their purchases, production schedules, inventories, finance and MIS.
