Coimbatore Compressor Engineering Company Pvt Ltd was using a standalone legacy system to manage their production and day-to-day operations, which resulted in total lack of visibility for the overall inventory and operational efficiency was also impacted. As sub-contracting is involved, the company found it difficult to track inventory at the subcontractor as real time data was not made available by the standalone system. The company also faced problems while monitoring the account receivables and payables on a daily basis for credit and advance management.
