Prince William County, Virginia: Cleaning Up a Mess of Paper Records

Overview Prince William County is located southwest of Washington, DC, in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The County was formed in 1730 by the General Assembly of the Colony of Virginia; it is home to more than 360,000 citizens and is home to such renowned sites as the Quantico Marine Base, the Manassas National Battlefield Park, and the Potomac Nationals Minor League baseball team. As a document-intensive enterprise, the County financial records account for more than 400,000 pages. The County wanted to consolidate their records so that they can be tracked effectively in the document management system. The County deployed a solution based on HP TRIM software which manages more than 400,000 pages of financial records.
