AMD Designs Next-Generation Processors With HP Servers
Overview AMD is a leading global provider of innovative processing solutions in the computing, graphics and consumer electronics markets. AMD needed a server farm that could scale fast and deliver more computing power. At the same time, their datacenter demanded a way to save power and cooling and keep it simple to manage. AMD deployed the HP BladeSystem with more than 2000 Opteron-based HP ProLiant BL465c servers in the server farm used for designing its new microprocessors.
