Overview Fife Public School District, just south of Tacoma, Washington, consists of three small towns with one big heart. The School wanted to update aging technology infrastructure to better meet educational goals and to improve collaboration and communication between staff, students and parents, while saving money on energy costs & reducing carbon emissions. The School standardized an IT environment and build an innovative learning gateway platform on HP BladeSystem with ProLiant server blades and an HP StorageWorks MSA-based SAN, using Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003.
