Standardization Streamlines IT, Improves Services for Desert Utility

Overview In 1911, the Imperial Irrigation District was formed to make southern California's desert bloom. The company wanted to reduce IT complexity and management burden and realize efficiencies through standardization in both the data center and in PC deployments, organization-wide. Imperial Irrigation District turned to HP partner SIGMAnet, which helped them standardize the data center using HP ProLiant servers, HP Enterprise Virtual Array storage solutions; and standardize PC deployments with HP Compaq desktop and notebook PCs.
