HP ProCurve Adaptive Network Provides a Secure, High Performance Infrastructure for International Consulting Firm
Overview COWI is a leading international consulting group, operating worldwide within the fields of engineering, environmental science and economics. With a head-office in Lyngby, North Copenhagen, another 8 offices across Denmark and 10 more globally, COWI decided to upgrade its core network infrastructure with a 10 Gigabit (Gb) backbone to support a new Microsoft SharePoint cluster that would allow all project co-workers to share information quickly, securely and easily. Following a competitive tender process, COWI opted for a ProCurve solution because of ProCurve's commitment to offering customers flexible and scalable solutions that support future growth. In addition, the ProCurve solution was considered much easier to manage than other vendors' offerings thanks to the user friendly management software.
