Overview The Forney Independent School District is one of the fastest growing public school districts in the state, with a student population expanding 20 percent annually for the past seven years. School needed a highly functional, streamlined network to serve 7,000 students and nearly 1,000 faculty and other employees. Determined to rely on a single vendor whenever possible, and attracted by the quality and value of 3Com products, they launched the school district's relationship with 3Com in 2000 by purchasing 3Com Switch 3300 and 3400 switches. Over the next several years, he continually upgraded to Switch 4400 and 7757models.
