Overview Our Lady of Sion College has consistently invested in information technology to ensure the best education for its students. Sion College needed to upgrade network to support expanded e-learning curriculum, to leverage existing investment to future-proof network, to provide reliable connectivity wherever it is needed and to eliminate bottlenecks and latency problems in the existing network. The College deployed 3Com Switch 5500G-EI 24-Port, Switch 4500 50-Port, 3Com Wireless LAN Switch WX1200, WLAN Managed Access Point 2750 and 3Com ExpressSM Services. It helped in improved network-wide performance and reliability with cost effective connectivity allowing seamless roaming and enhanced security and easy management across wired and wireless networks.
