The CIO Leadership Survey: New Role for CIOs?

Overview Nearly everyone has their opinion about what role the Chief Information Officer plays in today's organizations. But, how do CIOs themselves feel about their role and their major challenges? The Center for CIO Leadership recently completed a comprehensive survey that polled 270 CIOs from 45 countries and 30 industries to shed some light on the topic. From this survey, the Center has developed a set of core competencies that lay out requirements for CIOs looking to grow into and/or sustain leadership roles in their enterprises. The presenter of this webcast summarizes the survey results and talks about their implications.
