Overview Invensys wanted to condense end-of-period consolidation and reporting cycle for 200 globally dispersed businesses operating on disparate financial systems and simplifies intercompany accounting and eliminates mismatches. The challenge was to provide executives with timely, at-a-glance performance data with advanced drill-down and analysis tools on the desktop and gain broader, in-depth intelligence to enhance planning and improve flexibility in a competitive, dynamic market. Invensys upgraded from Hyperion Enterprise to Hyperion Financial Management in 2004 to consolidate statutory and management reporting on a single, universally available platform and rolled out the system to 450 users - ranging from factory accountants to regional financial managers and board-level decision makers.
