Overview STL Group of Companies is a value added reseller of new and used Avaya and Nortel telephone systems and equipment. Founded in 1989, STL has both small and large customers that are end users. Not only was STL's technology antiquated and disjointed, it was also paper-intensive. After making a sale, the salesperson would print the order and hand deliver it to the purchasing department for processing. When choosing a new enterprise system to streamline its operations, improve inventory and increase reliability, STL sought out a vendor who could handle the project from concept to completion. Elliott said Epicor was a perfect fit because the vendor's own consultants handled the installation, implementation and support of Epicor for Distribution - which is fully integratable with various other systems.
