Epicor Software Case Study: TEAM Industries

Overview TEAM Industries helps make the outdoor enjoyment possible by designing and manufacturing innovative power-train components for well-known companies in the recreational and off-road industries, including Polaris, Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha. TEAM Industries began in 1967 with one building and 25 employees. Today, TEAM is a fully integrated group of five companies located across northern Minnesota, totaling 500,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Other industries served by TEAM solutions include agricultural, automotive and lawn care, with blue-chip customers such as John Deere, Ford, Dana, Ingersoll-Rand and Textron. In 1993, when Waagmeester joined the company, TEAM was using a stand-alone, batch-oriented system that could no longer support their vision to be a single, unified organization. They wanted an integrated, real-time, PCnetwork system. TEAM found what they were looking for in Vantage from Epicor.
