AVTEC Cuts Inventory Costs by US$2 Million, Gains Greater Visibility Into Enterprisewide Performance
Overview AVTEC wanted to replace disparate systems with a single enterprise resource planning solution to improve business control and reduce costs and integrate the supply chains of three manufacturing facilities to lower inventory expenses and shorten delivery times. The challenge was to standardize business processes at manufacturing plants to increase efficiency and ease communications with head office. AVTEC engaged Oracle Certified Partner Birlasoft to implement Oracle E-Business Suite modules at three manufacturing units, regional back offices, and the New Delhi head office and standardized workflows at plants and regional offices, which increased efficiency and minimized confusion at head office.
